To enter your RRIF income in TurboTax Online:

  1. If you don’t see 2022 TAXES in the left pane, select the dropdown to the right of Income & Expenses on the Hi, let’s keep working on your taxes! page and then select Pick up where you left off or Work on other income
    • Otherwise, in the left pane, select Federal, then Wages & Income (This is labelled Income & Expenses in TurboTax Self-Employed)
  2. Scroll down and select the Show more dropdown to the right of Retirement Plans and Social Security
  3. Select Yes on the Canadian Retirement Plans and Funds screen, then select Continue

Input any relevant information.

To report your Canadian tax paid on your retirement income for the foreign tax credit purposes:

  1. Select Deductions & Credits in the left pane
  2. Scroll down and select the Show more dropdown to the right of Estimates and Other Taxes Paid
  3. Select Start or Revisit to the right of Foreign Tax Credit
  4. Select Yes on the Foreign Tax Credit page

Input any relevant information.
