Question

While filling out the 1099 DIV portion, it asks me for a value in box "2a". My 1099 DIV doesn't have a box "2a". What should I enter in the computer for this value?

A form 1099-DIV should have a box 2(a) on it. That entry is for capital gain distributions. If you did not not have any though, you can leave the entry blank.
