Where does the 5329 come from?

    Form 5329 is generated by the software if penalty tax needs to be calculated on a withdrawal from certain tax-favored accounts, such as an IRA or 529 plans.

    TurboTax Online will do it only if you have entered a 1099-R

     

    TurboTax Desktop will do it if you open Forms mode and add the form 5329 yourself.
