Why does Turbotax include my tax estimates as income?

Why are my tax estimate payments included as income?

They should not be. They are entered in the federal section, under Deductions and Credits, in the Estimates and Other Taxes Paid section. They should be going to line 26 of the 1040. Can you explain more of what you are seeing?
