Why does TurboTax keep asking me whether all/some/none of my withdrawal from an inherited IRA is an RMD? I already input that the RMD was taken out in the initial year
Based on year born and year died, and the fact that my parent made their RMD in the year of their death, the inherited IRA does not require an annual RMD. Yet, TurboTax doesn't seem to understand this. It does not seem to refer to the ten year rule at all in its logic.
