Why if I entered the not taxable income, it does not show in the tax return

In some cases, when you enter income that is not taxable, TurboTax may not show that number on the final tax form.

 

More specifics may help to better answer your question.  For example, what was the nontaxable income you entered, and on what form was that nontaxable income reported to you?

 

If you have little or no taxable income, you may not be required to file a tax return.

 

See the section of IRS Publication 501 at this link for the Table 1 chart with the gross income amounts that require you to file. 

 

See IRS Publication 501 Table 3 for the other situations that require you to file a U.S. tax return, even if you don't meet the gross income requirements. 

 

People not required to file a tax return who want to submit all the necessary information to the IRS to receive a stimulus check can use the TurboTax Stimulus Registration product at this link or the IRS website for non-filers to enter their payment info at this link
