If you are filing single, please go back to the personal information section to make sure the correct box was checked.  

 

You can change your filing status in your Personal Info section. Use the steps below to make the changes.

 

1. Go to "Personal Info" at the top of the page

2. Select "Edit" next to marital status

3. Select the status that applies to you

 

FYI.  If you are married, you cannot file as single.  You must file either as Married filing jointly or Married filing Separately.  (In certain situations you can file Head of Household.)
