Why is the amount for 1099-MIsc my business income show up on the summary for other common income? It was imported and shows up as zero in the summary?

For 2015 the number for 1099-misc (business income) shows up as a line item for the summary "other common income" but for 2016 it is zero. This 1099-MIsc was imported to schedule C but is not included in turbo tax's summary for 2016. It shows the correct amount for 2015.

That is a change from 2015. In the past, the 1099-MISC would show in both the Personal Income Summary and the Business Income summary, and it gave the appearance that the income was double-reported. If you can see your 1099-MISC in your business income, it is reported correctly.

What hasn't changed is that your 1099-MISC will be reported as part of your Schedule C Business Income on line 12 of your 1040.
