Can you provide some more details on what form you are entering?   You should not need to enter your social security number anywhere but in the personal information section.   You enter it one time there and then TurboTax transfers to all of your documents so there is no risk of mistyping the number (other than that initial screen).    There are instances where you need to enter someone else's SSN number, but it is uncommon.
