Question

Why won't program allow Social Security data to be entered as retirement income? Why does the date entered on Form 1099 NEC and MISC not show on Income Summary page?

Social Security income is entered in the Retirement Section of Wages & Income.

Review the TurboTax Help article to enter Social Security Income Where do I enter an SSA-1099, SSA-1099-SM, or SSA-1099-R-OP1? for navigation instructions to enter your Social Security income.

I'm not clear on the dates you are referring to on Forms 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC.Let us know what box you see a date in so we may answer your question.
