Wife PA resident, 62. Converted funds from 403 to IRA then rolled to Roth - should not be taxed by PA / turbotax shows as income for PA - why? incorrect entry on federal

Make sure your 1099-R entry in your Federal return is correct.  Pay close attention to the follow-up questions after your entry.

 

There should be a Code G in Box 7 on the 1099-R indicating a Rollover. 

 

If you transferred 100% of the IRA distribution into a Roth IRA, you are correct that it should not be taxable on your state return.
