Wife's retirement distribution on Pennsylvania return

My wife's retirement distribution is showing up on my Pennsylvania return.  I filed in Pennsylvania as married filing separately because all I'm doing in Pennsylvania is declaring my rental income.  I've checked my federal return several times, and the retirement distribution is in her name.  I entered her 1099-R manually.

You are correct and the filing status makes no difference on the PA return.

The retirement income should not be taxed in Pennsylvania (PA) assuming your wife is retired. When you are in the PA return you will come to a screen 'What kind of retirement income do you have from PA?' You must select from the dropdown 'I'm eligible, plan's eligible (no PA tax). Once you make the selection the retirement will not be taxable on your wife's PA return.
