Will not let me file because I have no selected on filing 1099 forms, even though I selected that forms were not required on the line above?

If you are referring to a Form 1099-R, I will suggest you to remove it from the program. Here are the steps:

In TurboTax online version:

1. Sign into your account, select Pick up where you left off

2. Select Tax Tools, click on the drop down arrow

3. Select Tools

4. Under Other helpful links, choose Delete a form

5. Select Delete next to the Form 1099-R and Continue with My Return

Make sure there is no amounts shown on line 4 or 5 of your Form 1040.
