As a delivery driver for uber eats and shipt, am I considered "actively involved" or "actively participated" in the business?

On the Schedule c, it asks if i "actively participated in this work". Would that be a yes? Or since I am not making management decisions obviously for uber eats, and didn't work more then 500 hoursm would it be a no?

When you file a Schedule C, you are saying that you are self-employed. That means that for your Schedule C business as a delivery driver, you are making management decisions by deciding when and how long to work.

Therefore, if you are actively participating in continuing to pursue income through your delivery driving, you would answer 'yes'.
