Question

Can anyone help me locate schedule C? I can't file until I state what percent how of my home office was used to get the value is in line 7 of my schedule C.

TurboTax is flagging it as needing review but I'm not sure what the exact value is since turbo tax poses questions and fills the form out for you without you actually seeing it. It would probably be 100% but I just don't want to get flagged if that's wrong.

Follow these steps to go to the Schedule C section of your return:

 

On the top right corner of TurboTax online screen, click on Search (or for CD/downloaded TurboTax locate the search box in the upper right corner).

  1. Type in “schedule c” (or for CD/downloaded TurboTax, click Find).
  2. Click on “Jump to schedule c”.
  3. Click on the blue “Jump to schedule c” link.

The percentage of expenses allowed is based on the ratio of your home office square footage vs your entire home square footage.
