How to enter 1099-MISC

I can't get past the instructions to enter a link or number into Box 3 section C but my 1099-MISC does not include this info. It only has info in Box 3.

It depends.  If you have income only in Box 3, Form 1099-MISC it's possible to enter it as other income.  

 

Other Miscellaneous Income:

  1. Go to the Wages and Income  section of TurboTax
  2. Scroll to  Less Common Income > Select  Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C
  3. Select Other reportable Income > Enter a description (----) and the amount  
  4. Be sure to delete your direct 1099-MISC entry if you use the method below.
