Question

I got reimbursed for legal fees that were spent reviewing an agreement with a solar farm next to my property. This showed as Misc. income. Can I also deduct this fee?

There is no improvement on my property - the legal document spells out restrictions - such as building large structures that would block the sunlight.

No, this would be a personal expense.  Personal legal fees are not tax deductible under current tax law.
