I operated a sole-proprietorship business from 2018-2023. Last year I was a W2 worker. Is it better to delete my schedule c or enter $0 self-employed income?

I never had an EIN number. I did not operate my business in 2024 and had no self-employed income or business deductions.

TurboTax Live Deluxe Online

If you had no self-employed income in 2024, there no need to file a Schedule C and you should delete it form your return.

To delete it, please follow these steps:

In TurboTax Online, open your return
In the left-hand column, locate Tax Tools, click on the drop-down arrow then click on Tools
On the Tools Center page, click on Delete a form
A list of forms will appear. Locate Schedule C and click Delete next to it.
On the next screen, click Delete Form
