I received a 1099-NEC and a1099 Misc. for the same income, which one do I use?

You should call the company that issued the forms to know which form to use and to confirm that this same income is not reported twice to the IRS.  If they reported this income to the IRS with both forms, the IRS will expect the amount reported with both forms on your return.  

If the company does not correct this, you can call the IRS at 800-829-1040 for help. They will ask you for the company's name, address, and phone number.  The IRS will contact them to ensure you have the proper form.
