If I have a 1099-NEC for PTO, How do I input this ?

    PTO wages should not be reported on a 1099-NEC. These should be included on your W2. I would ask your employer for a corrected W2. If that is not possible, here is how you can report the income:

     

    1. Search for 1099-NEC and select the Jump to link.
    2. On the What type of income.. screen select Income that should've been reported on a W2.
    3. Enter your 1099-NEC according to the form you received and click Continue.
    4. Choose Yes, when asked if you also received a W2 from [Employer Name] and click Continue.
    5. Select Continue.

    Page 11 of the IRS Instructions, shows what payments should not be included on a 1099-NEC and specifically says:

    Do not report in box 1: An employee's wages, travel or auto allowance, or bonuses and prizes (report on Form W-2);
