Question

if i received a training stipend for a pre-doctoral internship, and did not receive any tax document for it (such as a 1099-misc), how can i report it?

i received a monthly stipend from the agency that i completed my pre-doctoral internship.

    You can report it in Miscellaneous Income if it is taxable.   Search for other reportable income and use the jump to link.   It is in the last section of Miscellaneous Income under Less Common Income in the Deductions & Credits section.  

     

    Use training stipend as the description and enter the amount.   TurboTax will report the income as Other Income on Schedule 1.
