Question

It keeps skipping over my self employment expenses. How can I fix it

    I would suggest that you go back to the business entry on your return.  After you enter your business information, TurboTax will ask you to choose expense categories. Once you choose your categories, a new section will open for you to enter your business expenses. To get back to your Schedule C:

     

    1. Open or continue your return
    2. Locate the Schedule C section
    3. Go to Schedule C
    4. Under the business you need to review, go to Review
    5. Continue the interview until you get to the expense categories (see the image below)
