Missing info in box 15 - 17 on W-2

I worked/lived in Maryland for most of the year then moved to a CA location of the same job. I have information in 15 - 17 on my state income and state income tax for CA, but there is no info for MD. Should the MD info be there?

I can find MD income and income tax on my pay stubs, but MD taxes for both MD and the county (Frederick) so would I add those two numbers together to get my total income tax for MD when filing my return?

@Mikle  If your employer withheld income taxes for MD then yes there should be a MD sectiion of boxes 15-17.

Often when there are 2 states, employers will have 2 pages of w-2's as they only report 1 state on each. you would enter it as 1 w-2 with both states though . Check your paystub to see if MD taxes were withheld.

You would be a part year resident of both states for taxes. I would suggest completing the Fed return first, followed by the CA, and then the MD.  You will get a credit for taxes paid to another state for income taxed by both states.
