I'm Self Employed and just finish my taxes. I went to file and it say that my return had some forms that can not be file electrically. I file my taxes every year using turbo tax. Does the software have more update before I able to  file.

Click Review to see if you are missing some forms needed in order to e-file.

Many federal and state forms are not yet available.  Check here for form availability. The dates are subject to change.

Tax form availability tool,

No hurry to e-file since the IRS will not begin to accept/reject 2023 e-files until January 29.   And….a state return cannot be accepted until after the IRS accepts your federal return.

Can a 1040 tax return w/ a loss on a schedule C be filed electronically?

@dmartina48 What is on line 11 of your Form 1040?   If that is blank or zero you cannot e-file unless you use the trick of adding $1 of interest to show taxable income.
