I started working on my taxes through TurboTax as i e done for several years and I’m almost finished. I can’t find the place to enter 1099 NEC that I issued to independent contractors. I’m now realizing that I started on Premier as opposed to Home and Business which I think I usually do. . Is there a way to switch and not have to start entering all of the information all over again.
There is no reason to switch from Premier to Home & Business. The Premier edition supports entry of self-employment income and expenses.
Click on Federal Taxes
Click on Wages & income
Click on I'll choose what I work on
Scroll down to Business Items
On Business Income and Expenses (Sch C), click on the start button
