Can we prove moving expenses only with bank statement, no physical receipt ?

I already did my taxes 2020 but they are now requesting a refund and holding my 2021 return as colateral

    With moving expenses you need to keep all documentation and receipts. 

     

    You will need to prove that it was for your moving expenses- dates and for what it was used for - example, gas, motel rooms, food. 

     

    Please contact the CRA at 1-800-959-8281 and ask if you print out and highlight each expense and enter what it was for if they would except it.
