The amount I entered for home office expenses under T777 is not reflected in line 22900 (T1 General). Can someone help me please?

The amount showing in T777 Line 55 is for Work-space-in-the-home expenses available to use in future years. I want it to be claimed in 2023 Tax return not future years. I'm not sure if I missed a field or something.
