I am claiming borrowing interest on an investment loan.

Hi, you need to make sure that you qualify to claim the Investment tax credit (ITC). Here is a link to line 41200 from the CRA that is giving you all the details around T2038 and what qualifies under the ITC. Borrowing money for investment does not necessarily giving you access to ITC.
