Question

Hello - is the RRSP contribution only relates to my own contribution or includes my employer's contribution. Can I claim the total as deduction in my return?

What constitutes RRSP contribution? Is it  just my own or it includes employer's contribution?

    Hi there - your employer’s contributions to your Group RRSP are considered earned and taxable income. However, just like contributions to an individual RRSP, contributions to a Group RRSP – whether made by you or matched by your employer – are tax-deductible to you.
