Hello,

I understand there is a  OAS clawback tax threshold, I am a Canadian citizen and living in Canada, do I need to pay the OAS clawback tax if my income is higher than the threshold? Or the OAS clawback only applies to non-resident or citizen living outside of Canada?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, anyone who receives OAS (Old Age Security) may have to repay it if their income has gone above the income limit ($79,845 in 2021). This Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) page has more information: Repayment of Old Age Security pension
