Question

I am experiencing CPP claw back & I do not know what 2 do. My social worker will not talk to me, I have the DTC will that help? Is there forgiveness 4 CPP claw back?

Is there forgiveness for the money I owe to CPP? I have the Dissability Tax Credit. Is there anything I can I take advantage of to help my situation?

    OAS payments for July to December 2023 are clawed back based on your income as per your 2022 tax return (as are OAS payments for January to June 2024). However, when your 2023 tax return is filed, the OAS clawback is recalculated based on your 2023 taxable income, and you may recover some of the tax.

     

    Did it say that it was your CPP that was clawed back or your OAS?
