Question

I have been retired 6 years but it wants me to upgrade to the expensive self- employed version. Why? I’ve made sure the self employed question is not checked.

Any other reason I’d need this version? My taxes are simple

    TurboTax could be telling you that you are self-employed because of the income in certain boxes on slips. For example, if you have any amount in boxes 20 or 48 of a T4A, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) says that income would be self-employment income.
