Question

I made a $20k RRSP payment from my income to my wife RRSP. How do I show this on the return? I was going to say I paid $20k on my RRSP but not sure if show it on my wife?

You will open your return and go to the left side and click on RRSPs- Get Started.

You will then come to the page- Your RRSP Profile for 2021 and you will check off the ones needed. Continue to the next page where it will ask how much is your deduction limit- enter the amount and continue.

The next page you will see Your RRSP Contribution- You will enter the amounts where needed and the last one says "Contribution amount to your spouse's RRSPs" there you will enter the amount you contributed to your wife's RRSPs.
