Question

I receive Us Social Security pension income and I am exempt under the tax treaty. How do I enter the exempt portion. I keep getting an error.

When I enter in the foreign slip, I enter US Social Security benefits started before 1996 and two lines down, I try to enter in pension income exempt under a tax treaty and it gives me an error message - complete a separate slip for each type of income.

    You'll need to add a separate Foreign Slip and enter your pension income exempt under a tax treaty there.
