Is tax paid on US SS Benefits eligible for tax credit?

In TurboTax online I have entered my wife's SS Benefits and taxes paid, however, they do not appear in the Foreign Taxes Summary (credits) section like the pension withdrawal slip information does for me. Is it a program glitch or is a tax rule?

    Yes, As per the Canada Revenue Agency(CRA) You can claim a deduction for part of this income.
