The Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP) allows you to use your Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) to help pay for full-time training or education for you or your spouse or common-law partner.

If you choose to use the LLP, you’ll need to repay the amounts into your RRSP. Each year for 10 years, you’ll have to repay 1/10 of the total amount you withdrew, until the LLP balance is zero.

Please see this Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) page for more information on the Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP): Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP)The Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP)

Please see this TurboTax FAQ for instructions on how to enter your repayments in TurboTax. How do I designate my RRSP/PRPP contributions as repayment of my Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP)?
