Question

1.) I live in SC but work in NC. I did not get a W-2 from my employer for SC so do I submit the "NC State Reference Copy W-2" with my state returns?

When I say State Returns, I am referring to SC State Return.

If you file your returns electronically there is no need to submit a paper copy of your W-2's or other tax forms.  Just keep the paper copy in your own files.

In TurboTax, be sure you complete your non-resident (NC) tax return before you do your home state (SC) return, so that your "other state credit" flows properly.
