Colorado form DR 8453 requires the 20 digit submission ID number assigned by the preparation software to each return at the time of submission.  Where do I find that number on Turbotax?

You can check the printout of Form 8453, it should be listed on there. It is also listed on the 8879 federal form.

TurboTax State return should not be asking a 20 digit submission number.  That number is used when submitting e-files outside of TurboTax.  When you e-file your Colorado return the number will be created and sent by TurboTax.  You will not be required to enter it. If you are filing a TurboTax Colorado return and the getting that error, then go to State, delete Colorado, and add it again.  TurboTax will not allow you to just submit one form.
