2017 turbo tax state download not working

I am doing my 2017 taxes via Turbo Tax and got through the federal portion of the steps the software is taking me through. I've been trying to continue through to the state filing for Virginia, but it says it has to download it (I bought the full version via amazon download); and it keeps going in an endless loop stating that it can't be downloaded or I can't continue, what should I do?

If the state program for Virginia has been downloaded on your computer, you can log out of your TurboTax program and double click on the state program and it should load up TurboTax with the state program installed.

You should look for the state program in your downloads folder. It would be called "Individual Virginia" most likely. It would be an ".exe" program.
