We got a letter from the California State Tax Board saying that our deductions for 2020 were higher than expected. I am speaking specifically about 2020 California Adjustments-Residents CA 540 line Part II line 29. We did the calculation worksheet manually from the Ca Tax Board and are getting a much different and lower number. Can you tell me that the calculation is for the specific line above so we can check?
