2024 Minnesota renters creddit form.

I submitted my MN state taxes yesterday 2/2/2025 and the state has recieved them.  My problem is that the renters credit info didn't come up when completeing the form.  I did not realize that Minnesota had changed the system and the renters credit is part of the state refund.  How can I go back and make the changes and complete the forms.

    Since it wasn't filed with the return, you will need to mail it in.  You can go back into the state to complete the form. Follow these steps:

    1. You will need to mark that you want to add a state to get into your return. 
    2. Once in, go into your MN state and go through the renter's credit. 
    3. Print the M1PR form
    4. Follow the state directions for mailing.
    5. Be sure to use tracking to ensure the safety of your information.
