I bought Home & Biz which was suppose to cover Fed and State -What's the problem?

E-filing fee in desktop software

Did you purchase desktop software with state software included? And even if it does have the state software download included, that is for preparing the state. There is an extra $25 fee to e-file the state. You can avoid the state e-file fee if you print and mail the state instead of e-filing it.

You receive one free state program download. There is an 25 e-file charge for the state tax return. This charge can be avoided by printing and mailing the state tax return.

And watch what button you click on. If you have the $25 state efile fee deducted from a refund there is an EXTRA $40 (45 in California) Refund Processing Service charge. So pay with a credit card or print and mail state for free.
