AARP filed federal for me in FL and I have the amount to work MN state taxes on but they we're unable to do my state for me. Can I do my MN state taxes online still?

Since you already filed your federal return outside of TurboTax and just need to do MN, you can either:

Option 1 - File through the Minnesota Department of Revenue Website:

  • You can file your Minnesota Individual Income Tax return electronically through the Minnesota Department of Revenue's website
  • They offer e-filing options and provide resources to help you through the proces

Option 2 - Re-create your federal return in the TurboTax software or TurboTax Online without filing it so you can prepare and file your state return using TurboTax

  • You'll need to print and mail your state return, as state returns can't be e-filed on their own.

The first option is free; the second option requires paying for both federal and state returns, even though you won't be filing your federal.
