Question

After eFiling my Pennsylvania return, do I still need to mail 1099R forms?

I always eFile both Fed and State via TurboTax.  In past years, Pennsylvania has still required me to mail in hardcopy 1099R statements after eFiling (probably to show those 1099R forms that have Pennsylvania tax withheld).  But this year I haven’t seen anything about this requirement (and I still have 1099Rs with Pennsylvania tax withheld).  Do I still have to send these in?  If so, where?  Why doesn't TurboTax mention it anywhere?  And if it isn’t a requirement anymore, did something change this year?  I'm using TurboTax Deluxe on Windows.

I received an answer from the pa tax website folks.  They said that yes, it is a requirement to mail in 1099R forms (if they have PA tax withheld) after eFiling with TurboTax.  They said that they could be emailed to this email address: [email address removed] using the form (as a cover letter) found here:
