I missed filing the renters credit for2024. How do I amend my MN return to include it.

To amend your state tax return only, select your product from the link below and follow the instructions.

How do I amend my state tax return?

To claim the credit :

Open your MN state return.
Continue to the screen Other Minnesota Credits and select Renter's credit.
Check if you meet all requirements.
Next, you need to enter information from your CRP, Certificate of rent paid

To amend your state return follow the steps below:

Sign in to TurboTax
On the home screen, scroll down to Your tax returns & documents
Select the year you want to amend
Select Amend (change) return
Then Amend using TurboTax Online
Select The IRS or state sent me a notice (this will allow you to amend only your state return without making changes to your federal) and Continue
Select Something Else and Continue
On the screen Tell us which 2024 return(s) you want to amend, select 2024 state
Continue until the Let's Amend your State Taxes screen. Select Amend next to your state return, and continue through the screens to make your amendments.
