I was wandering when i amend my state taxes is the amount that im recieving true or is the amended tax return minus the original tax return

    It is the amount minus your original state refund. You should receive your original refund on schedule and then receive a second refund when you file your amended state return.

     

    Wait until you receive your original state refund before filing an amended return just to make sure you state did not adjust your state refund.
