are there known software glitches transferring federal to NJ state return?

my wife had an IRA rollover which looks right on FED return but on state return says I had it also. The IRA is totally hers and I can't fix it.

First, what was the code in Box 7 on the 1099-R that you entered on the federal?

Second (silly question), are you filing married joint on both the federal and the state?

Third, where on the state return does it say that you have the rollover? What form and what line?

Fourth, is it reporting on the state return that you have the rollover in addition to reporting that your spouse has it? That is, is it reporting the rollover twice or once?

On what form is it reporting the rollover? Schedule INC? On what lines? And how do you know that one rollover is for your spouse and the other for you?
