Question

Arizona Form 309 and Ohio

Hello,

I live in Arizona however my income is from Ohio.

I did both the OH non resident & the AZ (I think I completed the AZ state first). It shows my OH refund of $336 however it shows I owe AZ $1203. I do not see any form "309" or anything indicating the "swap".  Something doesn't seem right? Can you please explain how to actually complete via TT?

Thanks!

You do not say if you moved from OH to AZ during the tax year, or if you just have some non-resident OH tax.   But if you have non-resident tax you are supposed to prepare the non-resident tax return FIRST before you prepare the return for the state you live in.   If you lived in OH for part of the year you need to prepare a part-year resident form for OH, not a non-resident return.   Sounds like you did the returns in the wrong order, and may need to delete them and re-do.
