Arizona State Tax amended

I filed our federal and state (Arizona) taxes and have received refunds on both.  Later recalled we did not file for $400.00 AZ Tax Credit for contribution made to a qualified charitable organization.  The tax credit does not get reported on federal taxes so I only need to file an amended form to Arizona. How can I do this without my amended form looking like I'm claiming a full refund plus the $400?

There is a place on Arizona amended return Form AZ-140X to enter your original refund or balance due.

    Here's what to do:

    1. In the Arizona section go to the screen "About Amended Tax Return," and say YES
    2. On "Amended Tax Return" choose 2022
    3. On "Corrections Made" say YES
    4. On "Amended Tax Return" you will see a window displaying a fill-in AZ-140X
    5. Go to line 48 Overpayment from original return or as later adjusted and enter the amount of your original refund

To get started see: How do I amend my state tax return?
