Can you clarify your question - which credit carryover are you having an issue with?

When entering prior year credits for contributions to private school tuition organizations on Form 323 and Certified PSTOs on Form 348, a warning message asserted they should not be larger than the current limit for single taxpayers. This was flagged again during Review but in both situations I was allowed to continue. Because the credits in violation were actually received in years when the couple were filing jointly (husband since deceased) I am proceeding with the larger values in place. Thanks for looking at this.

You will need to keep those prior tax returns showing the full amount allowed as a carryover. You may need to produce those in case of audit or other future issues. Any limitations by the program should be noted with your files so you don't lose the complete amount over time.
